What’s Happening at CVBC
· Delighting in the Trinity, our Adult Sunday school class, ends today. No adult class November 24 or December 1.
· Children’s Sunday School will be off November 24 (4K-high school).
· We are having ONE SERVICE only at 9:00am on November 24.
· This Thursday is the Seniors’ Harvest Dinner, November 21 at 11:30am. Open to all seniors 55+. Sign up in the lobby or online.
· This Tuesday, November 19, is Ruby’s Pantry. Food distribution is from 2:30-5:30pm. Extra help needed loading cars from 2:15-4:30. First-time volunteers visit: https://www.rubyspantry.org/become-volunteer.
· Giving Tree gifts are due back, unwrapped, with the tags by 11/27.
· Advent is December 1—December 25. We have a table in the lobby with Advent resources available for everyone. There is also a postcard-size fridge reminder with important news about service times for holiday weeks and Sunday School weeks off.
· Sign up for Lunch with the Chiquitos on Sunday, December 1 at noon. Join us to hear about Oscar & Karla’s ministry in Guatemala. Sign up in the lobby or online.
· DISTRICTS Youth Conference registration deadline is tomorrow, Nov. 18. Register with the app or the DISTRICTS brochure.

BACK OF BULLETIN: Student Ministry
NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS - DECEMBER 2024 and BEYOND:
· Our next Men’s Event is the CHILI COOK-OFF Monday, Dec. 2, at 6pm at CVBC.
· There will be a lunch for Young Adults (ages 19-25) coming up on Sunday, December 8 at noon. Sign up in the lobby or online.
· Ladies, sign up soon for our annual Ladies' Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December 14, from 10am to noon. We will enjoy a time of fellowship with one another, a delicious meal, singing Christmas Carols, and a drama titled, "Seed of Promise." Sign up in the lobby or online, with options to decorate tables and bring mugs/cups, etc..
· Our Christmas Eve services will be Tuesday, December 24 at 3:30 & 5:00pm. Everyone is welcome and we will have nursery for children up to 4 years old (both services).
· Christmas week: We will have just one worship service at 9:00am on both December 22 and December 29.

Calling ALL Women of CVBC!
The CVBC Women’s Mentoring Program is gearing up for 2025!
Are you interested in having a mentor to come alongside you on your spiritual journey? Would you like to be a mentor, to invest in another woman that may need help in her journey? If you answered yes to one of these, we invite you to step up and step out!
Applications are available in the lobby, the church office, and online at cvbc.net/womens-mentoring, where you can also find more details.
The Mentor Year will be March 2025 through February 2026.
Apply until January 12.
Training is on February 1.
